Books & Magazines - We keep a supply of the Australian Magazines - "Bear Creations" and "Dolls, Bears and Collectibles" magazine. These wonderful publications always have full-size patterns of bears, as well as other bear and doll-related projects. (Some back issues available, as shown on our Fabrics, Finds and Curiosities page.) **Miscellaneous books can also be found on the Fabrics, Finds & Curiosities Page.**

Mohair - We always have a large selection of mohair available. As this selection is always changing, please call or e-mail if you have a particular piece you are looking for. (Check the Fabrics, Finds & Curiosities page for some of the mohair available.)

Fabrics, Finds & Curiosities - On this page, you will find items of interest that sometimes relate to bears - sometimes not. Items will change on a regular basis or as soon as they are sold. Keep checking back to see what might show up.

Stainless Steel Beads - These beads are about the size of "cupcake sprinkles" and are wonderful for weighting miniature bears. Available in bottles with dispenser caps.

11 ounce bottle - $6.50, plus shipping

22 ounce bottle - $11.25, plus shipping

2 1/2 pound refill - $17.50, plus shipping

By the pound - $7.50 per pound, plus shipping

Vaccum-pack refill bags are also available for those that already have containers.

Glass Beads - Glass Beads are a wonderful alternative to use for adding weight to your teddy bears. They are available by the pound at a cost of $1.50 per pound. If you are ordering 5 pounds or more, I've found the most economical way to ship them is through the US Postal Service - Flat Rate - Priority Mail. Packaged in vacuum-packed bags.

Pincushion Emery - Pre-packaged in bags containing 1 cup of emery, this is a great way to not only keep those pins and needles sharp, but to add weight to your pincushions as well. One cup is usually enough to make approximately 4 pincushions. This, of course, depends on how much or little you decide to use.
