We have been participating in this show for years, and it’s fun to go back every year.  This show provides a great opportunity to meet up with old friends and meet new ones.  Everything you ever wanted to see or hoped to find  can be found here if it’s sewing related.  The Texas hospitality is second to none, and the variety of products and people is astounding.  Come spend a few days, ‘cause it’ll take at least that long to get around to all of the booths, and have the time of your life.  This year we’ll have even more new ideas and finished items to show off. The State Fair of Texas is the largest State Fair in the country.  This year, I was delighted to receive notice that 3 of my four entries won ribbons.  I received a first place award for one of my bears, a first for my lion and a third for a reversible tote/purse that I designed.. 2010 - was our first time  participating in this incredible,  one day, outdoor festival.   Every type of creative craft you can imagine can be found here  - with prices to accomodate  every pocketbook. You’ll find  every booth filled with  handmade pieces - all made  by the artists showcasing  them.  In addition to the artist’s  booths, you will find loads of  food as well as streets lined  with quaint little shops filled to  the brim with more goodies  than you would have ever  thought possible.  To add tot  he fun, there is live music all  day long.  Come spend the  day walking through the quaint  little, historic town of  Waxahachie and enjoy the  works of the participating  artists.
