About the Artist
Welcome to the home of Lulu Bears. My given name is
Luann, though I was always called Lulu as a child, thus the name
of my bears. I've been making collectible teddy bears since 1990.
I make each bear in it's entirety from my original designs. Each
bear has a hang tag, as well as an embroidered "Lulu Bear"
tag tied around the ankle, identifying it as a "Lulu Bear"
original. I participate in a number of shows each year, and promote
several bear shows each year, which feature only artist bears.
I also offer a once-yearly 3 day bear retreat, with guest artists
conducting workshops. I occasionally teach classes myself, and
also host classes and workshops taught by some of the finest artists
in the industry.
I carry a full selection of mohair from Edinburgh
Imports, as well as other bear making supplies. We carry the hard
to find stainless steel beads as well as the Australian Magazines,
"Bear Creations" and "Dolls, Bears, and Collectibles."
New bear-related items are added as we come across items that
we feel others would enjoy as well. Come on in, and visit the
